Renee knows about big career changes and life pivots. If you want inspiration for turning your dreams into reality, just ask about her business degree and an eight-month stint in the corporate world. Renee soon realized: This isn’t what I want to do for the rest of my life. She promptly enrolled in the AVEDA institute and never looked back. “I was missing the creative aspect,” Renee remembers. She put her business skills to good use, managing salons, providing industry education for other stylists, and delivering a level of professionalism she often noticed was lacking. 
 

When she’s not cutting hair, Renee’s day brighteners include spending 1:1 time with her two kids and loving on her deaf rescue dog, a Terrier Pitbull named Sunshine aka Miss Pig.
